BROOKE BURKE

Raised in Tucson, Arizona with three older sisters and three younger brothers, Brooke Burke never imagined herself to be a model and celebrity as well. Her dream was far simpler---to be a rock band drummer. Nevertheless, she was more fortunate to end up being a model and a television host.

It all started when Brooke accompanied a friend to a modeling agency, when she was the one who caught then attention of a talent scout. She grabbed the opportunity and began to make a name in the world of modeling. At the age of eighteen, Brooke became a print model. Her good looks, eye-catching body, and poise are behind her success in climbing the ropes of her modeling career. She became known as Bally’s “Beautiful Body” in its Total Fitness Commercial. Aside from this, she modeled for M Professional Cosmetics and Anheuser-Busch. She also became an endorser of Coca- cola and Discover Card.

Behind her beautiful body is talent and brain. Brooke was granted a scholarship for an acting course in UCLA. She was not able to study in full time though for she was modeling at the same time.

Brooke bumped into greater fortune when she took the advice of a friend to try hosting. This friend pushed her to go for an interview with E! which was then in need of a charming, down to earth, and quick person to host a television show. Brooke’s personality perfectly fit the bill, and she immediately got the contract signed for a travel show entitled “Wild On”. Since she is naturally adventurous, Brooke enjoys her job in Wild On. She takes pleasure in their trips in Wild On. She has already been in Spain, The Mayan Riviera, Aruba and Belize and as developed the hobby of skydiving, crocodile feeding in Black River Jamaica, riding the rapids, and shark diving. She relaxes by doing Yoga, cooking and reading.

Despite her busy schedule, Brooke sees to it that she spends quality time with her family, for she values it most. What is more about her is a naturally generous heart that drives her to give donations to charitable institutions like Entertainment Industry Foundation and Athletes & Entertainers for Kids.
